I moved to Chatham in 1993 after attending Canadore College in the French Immersion Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Administration program in North Bay. I worked at the iconic Wheels Inn as my entrance into the field. I have gained an extensive amount of knowledge and experience in terms of hotel management, working at several different chains over time (Best Western, Radisson, Hilton and Caesar’s). I was a team leader in the growth of Retro Suites Hotel in Chatham into a successful destination boutique hotel property in southwestern Ontario. I then proceeded to sell advertising with Blackburn radio before working as a customer relations specialist with Heuvelmans Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac. I am a long time executive board member on the Historic Downtown BIA and tourism cheerleader for Chatham-Kent.

When away from work, I love spending time with my family as I join my children on their many sporting endeavors (insert hockey mom quote here!). I am also trying to challenge myself to be a better golfer. I am excited to be joining Maple Mutual Insurance because as a company, we have developed a deeply rooted bond with the community ties and we continue to maintain a strong commitment to policy holders. I am excited to be back in the public eye and helping take care of what is most important. I have a large capacity to provide excellent customer service and look forward to this new challenge as I extend my expertise to help clients have a piece of mind.
